Are they interchangeable?
No — not interchangeableNo. CR2032 is exactly twice the thickness of CR2016. While they share the same diameter, a CR2032 will not fit in a CR2016 compartment, and a CR2016 will rattle loose in a CR2032 slot with unreliable contact. Some people stack two CR2016 cells to replace one CR2032 — this is not recommended as it can cause uneven discharge and leakage.
The verdict
These are not interchangeable. Use whichever one your device specifies. The Casio F-91W uses CR2016. Most car key fobs use CR2032. Check the marking on your old battery before buying.
