CR2016 Battery Equivalent

BR2016 vs CR2016 — what's the difference?
BR2016 uses a slightly different lithium chemistry suited to extreme temperatures. For everyday use in Casio watches and key fobs, CR2016 and BR2016 are interchangeable.
In everyday use, you can safely replace a CR2016 with DL2016, BR2016, ECR2016, or KCR2016 without any difference in performance.
Common mistakes
CR2016 is the thinnest of the 20mm coin cells at just 1.6mm. It is frequently confused with CR2032 (3.2mm) and CR2025 (2.5mm). Attempting to fit a CR2032 or CR2025 where a CR2016 is required will not work — they are too thick.
