BR2032 uses a slightly different lithium chemistry that performs better in extreme temperatures but is otherwise interchangeable.
Important: CR2032 is NOT interchangeable with CR2025 or CR2016. While they share the same 20mm diameter, CR2025 is thinner (2.5mm) and CR2016 is thinner still (1.6mm). Using the wrong thickness may damage your device or fail to make contact.
